| Like all things
meant to be found, I discovered Mara's paintings by happy accident.
It was on a day when I was researching the Dream Goddess, a 6,000 yr old
statue of a dreaming woman found in an underground cave on an island in
Malta. To my utter amazement, I found this
beautiful site with the most exquisite paintings of the sacred feminine
that my eyes have ever happened upon.
I remember spending hours poring over Mara's catalogue, drinking up the colors and symbolism of her work. Her paintings awoke in me the same sense of empowerment that I receive from my dreams. It was then that I knew I must contact her to see if she would allow me to represent her works on the Dream School site. To my great pleasure, she accepted. What you see on almost every page, is of Mara's creation. As it turns out, Mara is a prolific dreamer. How Usual!
