The Creative Dreamer
Class Photos (January 2003)
In this course, a vibrant group of 11 dreamers explored and shared the challenges of living a creative life by working with the symbols in our dreams. We began our discussions with a list of paradoxical traits that are said to be contained within the creative individual, and this led us to discussion on what Jung calls The Transcendent Function. Once we laid the groundwork, we began to share and work on our dreams. It was truly amazing how many languages were spoken between us; Numerology, Chakras, Psychology, Intuition, Tarot. These discussions often left us powerfully moved and our exuberance was captured one day after class when our resident photographer, John Southern, pulled out his digital camera.
