November 24th ~ Mining the Dream R.M. Rilke wrote that we must “be patient towards all that is in your heart and ...try to love the questions themselves like locked rooms and like books that are written in a very foreign tongue.” We can think of our dreams in a similar way. By finding the right questions to ask the dreamer, we can gradually feel our way into the answers. In this first class of the series, we will learn the structure of an effective dream interview as well as study the ethics of working with others’ dreams. |

December 1st ~ The Bridge Home Now that we have asked the right questions, we must learn to distill the dreamer’s descriptions into a constructive form. A skilled dreamworker knows to follow the dream itself, who’s natural gradient is towards ‘wholeness’. In this class we will learn how to mirror the dream’s wisdom, bridging it back to the dreamer’s waking life. After some instruction, we will observe example interviews being conducted. |

December 8th ~ Dream Circle In this class we will gather as a group and work on participants dreams collectively. We will focus on the importance of intuition in dreamwork, active listening, and maintaining a balance between our head and our heart. The process will be mediated while we continue to learn from eachother. |
December 15th ~ The Exchange Applying the skills we have developed throughout the course, this entire seminar will be dedicated to hands-on dreamwork. Participants will break off into twos and exchange dream interviews. We will return to the group at the end of this class for a review & discussion period. |
